Spring is in the air from the Flowers Blooming and Fresh Mowed, but the Menopausal Symptoms are Unbearable and my Mood Swings are Driving me Crazy, Is there Help for me?

Daily stress is hard enough for anyone, let alone someone going through menopause. Now let’s add the vasomotor symptoms that go along with menopause, to that same daily stress. There could be a total melt down coming on for the menopausal female.

Once you have developed hormone deficiency due to menopause. You may not even feel “normal” anymore. Some vasomotor symptoms you might experience could be;

hot flashes night sweats moodiness

crying spells dry skin & hair poor cognitive function

vaginal dryness loss of libido no energy

weight gain

The every day decisions are becoming harder to make during the menopausal years. Now let’s add daily stress. The “simple” decisions on what to purchase for weekly groceries, or the hustle and bustle of the local Wal-Mart could be over whelming to say the least. If there is not enough hormone production to help you cope with the stress of everyday, how can you expect to remain sane?

Here is a quick solution to this problem. Make an appointment with your doctor or call a compounding pharmacy that can help you get the proper blood work you need to evaluate your hormone levels. Once the labs come back, you could get started right away on Bio-Identical hormone replacement (BHRT). BHRT can help with the hormone deficiency you are having. BHRT also has the exact chemical structure that your own body produces. So when you replace with BHRT, your body recognizes it as something natural. This can help to alleviate vasomotor symptoms.

Determining the correct dose is very important. If your physician does not work with BHRT often he or she may not understand how to determine an individualized dose that fits your body according to your labs and symptoms. There are some compounding pharmacies that have someone who specialize in this field and would be glad to help your doctor determine your dose. Or look for a Free BHRT seminar in your area. Once you are on BHRT you could experience relief of symptoms as soon as a couple of days or so. Depending on what method you choose to deliver the BHRT to the body may determine how quickly you would experience symptom relief. Gaining knowledge about hormone replacement is the first step, get started today.

Hormone Deficiency

Have you been labeled with “That’s just part of aging” or “You just have to live with it”?

Every male and female will enter into menopause or andropause, which is a state of hormone loss in the body, this can bring on symptoms such as: hot flashes, night sweats, foggy thinking or short term memory loss, depression, mood swings, weight gain, low energy, decreased libido, vaginal dryness, dry skin, dry eyes, brittle hair, erectile dysfunction. If gone untreated for years, a few symptoms may seem to lighten up, such as hot flashes and night sweats. The medical professionals tend to put a label on the other symptoms you may keep as “that’s just a part of aging”, or “well you will just have to live with it”

You should achieve normal physiological hormone levels again. Once this is achieved the symptoms mentioned above will begin to dissipate. You will feel like you again. With a happier demeanor and outlook on life, you will perform in your job better and be a better you in general. Your relationship with your spouse can be revived as well.

If you are a senior citizen, you should be enjoying life, get out side and stay youthful and physically fit. Life is worth living when you feel awesome and energetic. Don’t let people tell you that it’s just part of the aging process, and you should feel tired and run down. A great quality of life is just around the corner for you too.

See if there are any “FREE” public seminars in your area that talk about Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) is a more natural way of replenishing hormones. BHRT is the same exact chemical structure as what your body produces. When giving BHRT, the doctor must know how much to give according to hormone level, patient medical history, patient symptoms, age, height and weight of patient. There is a fine line to stay within when replacing hormones. You want to look for the kind of health care providers that have been trained in BHRT so they can properly interpret hormone levels, replace hormones with BHRT or when not to give hormones to a patient. Always make sure the doctor requires lab results for hormones before determining your treatment.

Compounding Pharmacies are a good place to find local physicians that are doing BHRT for their patients. Often a compounding pharmacy will offer free patient consults or free information packets about BHRT and how to get started. Call today for your appointment, you could bee feeling like you again very soon.

Ladies Are You Noticing Signs of Testosterone Deficiency in Your Husband?

Men with low energy, decreased sex drive, poor cognitive function, loss of erections, loss of muscle mass, and weight gain might be suffering from testosterone deficiency. Testosterone deficiency syndrome (TDS), also referred to as the male menopause, andropause or hypogonadism is often ignored. Premature aging is inevitable without the replacement of testosterone. Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) has shown a dramatic improvement in the above mentioned symptoms and can help restore the patient’s health, drive and libido back to normal.

Dr. Eugene Shippen, author of Testosterone Syndrome writes from chapter 4 of his book; “Hormones are fuel of youth. They fight infection and heal injury, cause you to grow, fine-tune the way you deal with stress, control your inner heating apparatus, permit and encourage a good night’s sleep, balance the levels of minerals in your body, adjust the burning of fuel for energy, and of course, underlie your sex drive.” Why would anyone want to remain in testosterone deficiency? If testosterone holds great benefits for your body, why not do something about it? Here are 3 easy steps to getting back to normal.

Step one: Establishing your base line. You can do this by testing your hormone levels with your physician or a compounding pharmacy that offers this service. Test the following levels: Total Testosterone, Free Testosterone, Estradiol, TSH, T-3 Free, T-4 Free and PSA.

Step two: Now that you have the results, you will need these properly interpreted. This can be accomplished through your physician or a compounding pharmacy that has someone specializing in BHRT. The normal reference range is out dated to say the least. It will say you are normal if your labs were between 250 -827. Anything less than 500ng/dl a male would be considered to be in Andropause and should seek replacement or a testosterone stimulation test which would boost your own free Testosterone.

Step three: Plan of action. How can you achieve physiologically hormone levels again? You may want to try Clomiphene stimulation test if you are 50 years old or younger. This is Dr. Shippen protocol for boosting a male’s free testosterone before the replacement stage begins. Bio-identical testosterone replacement is the next option. Make sure to do your research before asking your doctor or compounding pharmacy. You may want to search for someone in your area that specializes in Bio-identical Hormones (BHRT) to help you decide what is best for you. Some area’s have Free Public hormone seminars you could attend to gain more knowledge.

Don’t ignore the symptoms you are having. Don’t brush it off as, it’s just part of the aging process or this is normal for a person of my age. You can feel energetic, with a better cognitive function, great libido and wonderful quality of life.

What do you think are you worth it?
